『日はまた昇る』におけるwritingとrespectability 　語りのhomosocialityから照射して Writing and Respectability in Ernest Hemingway’s The Sun Also Rises : From the Perspective of its Narration’s Homosociality 田村,恵理 タムラ,リエ TAMURA,Eri open access Ernest Hemingway Eve Kosofsky Sedgwick homosocial The Sun Also Rises 本論は，Eve Kosofsky Sedgwickの提唱するhomosocialの概念を用い，Ernest Hemingwayの小説The Sun AlsoRises（ 1926）に現れる書く事に対する意識を考察する。まずThe Sun Also Risesの物語に描かれる人間関係と語りの形式にhomosocialな特徴がみられる事を指摘する。次にこの物語の主人公Jakeの情熱がhomosocial概念の三角構造を成していると主張し，この物語が「語り得ない情熱というrespectable に位置づけされた物を，書く事というdisrespectable に位置づけされた芸術形式で表現する事を望む作家の意識」を浮き上がらせている事を示す。最後に，この物語にみられる「Jake が二人の男女に向ける情熱の三角構造」から「Jake の書く行為にまつわる情熱の三角構造」を考察する。 This study explores Ernest Hemingway’s approach to writing in The Sun Also Rises through the lens of homosocial desire as conceptualized by Eve Kosofsky Sedgwick. Firstly, it is pointed out that some distinctive features of the homosocial community can be seen both in the relationship between the characters and the narrative style in the novel. Then, it is suggested that the homosocial triangle shown by Sedgwick can also be seen in the emotion of the novel’s protagonist, Jake Barnes, and this story shows a writer’s emotion for expressing the indescribable passion, the respectable, by the art of writing, the disrespectable.
