The results showed that the literacy and competency scores at the end of the first semester remained generally stable, regardless of the year of enrollment. Literacy scores tended to be higher for female students than for male students, while competency scores were higher for male students than for female students. Changes from the first to the third year revealed the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, with differences in score growth observed depending on when students experienced pandemic-related restrictions during their university life.
