This paper analyzed the relationship between food consumption awareness of adult people and their experience of food education at home and school in elementary and junior high school age. Awareness of nutrition and table manners, awareness of consuming locally grown foods, and awareness of supporting sustainable food production were adopted as food consumption awareness in this study. Ordered logistic regression analysis revealed as follows.\nAdults' awareness of nutrition and table manners was related positively to their experience of \"food education about taking a meal\" at home and school. Adults' awareness of consuming locally grown foods was correlated positively with their experience of having heard of \"local food\" and \"problems of the environment concerning agriculture and fishery\" at home, their experience of having participated in \"activities for learning dietary habit and food production\" from home, and their experience of having learned \"problems of the environment concerning agriculture and fishery\" at school.
